Nawaz Sharif Signals Expansion Of Punjab, Federal Cabinets

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has indicated an upcoming expansion of both the Punjab and federal cabinets. According to sources, Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting where proposals for the federal and provincial budgets for the next fiscal year were discussed.

The meeting also considered the issue of cabinet expansion at both the provincial and federal levels following the budget. Nawaz Sharif has instructed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to maintain close coordination with coalition partners.

Party President Nawaz Sharif emphasised the numerous challenges ahead and stressed that the upcoming budget should be people-centric, prioritising public interest projects. He commended Maryam Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif for their efforts in reducing inflation and directed them to continue working on further decreasing the cost of living.
