Veteran journalist, renowned intellectual and former ambassador Wajid Shamsul Hasan (LATE) is the founding Chairman of The Scoop. The former ambassador was known for his unflinching support for democracy in Pakistan and was also a close confidante of late prime minister Benazir Bhutto. He had served as Pakistan's high commissioner to the UK from 2008-2013. Hassan also played a pivotal role in drafting the famous Charter of Democracy signed between the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in 2007. His father Nawab Shamsul Hasan had remained Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s associate for 40 years. He was also the Bhutto family’s great friend.

Hassan Naqvi is an award winning investigative digital, print and broadcast journalist who is the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Scoop. He has more than 10,000 investigative stories and exclusive interviews to his credit and has worked for leading national and international media outlets in the last two decades.

Syeda Shehrbano Kazim is the Managing Editor of The Scoop. She has had a diversified career in journalism, public relations, communications and content development, tech-enabled e-commerce, microfinance and poverty alleviation, and programme, project and value chain design. She has considerable experience in structuring capacity building initiatives, conducting training, developing communications strategies and campaigns and managing events.

Shahab Jafry is the leading business and economy journalist who is currently associated with The Scoop as contributor. Shahab is also a financial/market analyst and data analyst with experience in political, financial and war journalism in the Middle East and Asian region. He is published in Khaleej Times, Asia Times Online, The Telegraph (online), The Nation, and others.

Amina Hassan is one of the leading lifestyle journalists who is the Co-founder and Lifestyle Editor of The Scoop.

Ahmad Fraz is the Webmaster and Creative Head of The Scoop.
