LAHORE:  A flight carrying approximately 140 Pakistani students from Kyrgyzstan landed at Lahore Airport today. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi personally received the students upon their arrival.

Minister Naqvi met with the students who safely returned home and inquired about their well-being. He also gathered information regarding the unfortunate incident that occurred in Bishkek and discussed the issues faced by the students.

The Prime Minister took swift action to ensure the safety of Pakistani students immediately after the incident, Minister Naqvi noted. “We thank Allah that you have returned home safely,” he said.

Minister Naqvi affirmed that other students still in Kyrgyzstan would also be brought back to Pakistan. “Our top priority is the safe return of Pakistani students,” he stated.

Following the Prime Minister’s special instructions, federal ministers Ishaq Dar and Amir Maqam will also travel to Kyrgyzstan tomorrow.

“We stand with our children,” Minister Naqvi said, adding that more flights will be arranged to bring back students safely in the coming days.
