In the current scenario where all celebrities are raising their voices for Palestinians, actress Ayeza Khan faced great criticism for her different perspective. After getting great backlash, she again took to Instagram and came up with apologies. She also clears the air regarding her misinterpreted take on the Palestine issue.

“Meray Pass Tum Hoo” actress wrote, “I would like to take a moment to address an issue that has been misinterpreted and circulated. I won’t attempt to justify or explain because God knows that my intentions were not malicious, but I may have failed to articulate them well. I take full responsibility for this, both personally and on behalf of my team. I sincerely apologize to those who were hurt by my statement.

She further wrote, “I appreciate you all for bringing this matter to my attention, as I, too, am only human. I take full responsibility and assure you all that nothing of such sort shall ever happen again.

Showing empathy with Palestinians, she elaborated, “I empathize with the pain our people are experiencing amidst this cruelty. But I feel helpless and deeply saddened when I see what is happening. While my awareness may not bring an immediate resolution, I maintain faith in Allah in the possibility of change through prayer. Therefore, alongside our continuous awareness efforts, let us unite in prayer to end this cruelty. For indeed, we need Him and His divine help. My prayers are with the Palestinians.”

For those who don’t know what the backlash is about, a few days back the actress in response to a post questioning her lack of social media posting, addressing the Palestinian situation, shifted the focus towards the potency of prayer.

She expressed that daily prayers bear more weight than frequent social media updates, encouraging followers to devoutly pray for the world.

She further urged against placing blame or pointing fingers on the platform, emphasizing that we all share the common experience of having children and loved ones, and can empathize with the pain. In her response, she asserted her faith in Allah, expressing hope that justice will prevail soon.

She wrote, “Because I firmly believe that engaging in daily prayers holds greater power than consistently posting here, I implore everyone to fervently pray for the world, steering clear of assigning blame or pointing fingers on this platform. We all have cherished ones, and the pain is palpable for everyone. While we may not fully comprehend their suffering, I maintain my faith in Allah, trusting that justice will be served soon. Ameen.”

We hope her fans will be able to understand her perspective.
