In a recent photo op that left both admirers and critics scratching their heads, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was captured planting a tree on a modest piece of carpet spread out on a lush green lawn.

As cameras flashed and people watched, the Umeed-e-Sehr chief minister’s choice of carpet caught everyone’s attention.

“Wow, so humble!” said one person, “Standing on such a tiny carpet, surrounded by greenery, shows she cares about the poor.”

The message was clear: while most politicians would use fancy carpets for such events, Maryam Nawaz went for something simpler. Planting a tree wasn’t just about the environment; it was a performance, a bit of political fun.

But Youthias were not impressed and they out of habit thought it was silly. “Really? Standing on a tiny carpet when there’s so much grass around?” joked one Youthia, “Maybe she could focus on helping people instead.”

The debate raged on, with memes and jokes flooding social media platforms. Some suggested that next time, the Chief Minister should plant trees while balancing on a tightrope to truly capture the essence of her ‘ground-to-earth’ approach. Others joked about the possibility of her planting trees while perched on a golden throne.
