The Appellate Tribunal of Lahore High Court (LHC) has granted Sanam Javed’s appeal, allowing her to participate in the Senate elections after her nomination papers were initially rejected by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

This development follows criticism from one of her closest friends Tayyaba Raja, a notable figure within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, who denounced PTI’s selection of Sanam Javed as a Senate candidate.

She also questioned the legitimacy of the repeated bail granted to Sanam Javed by the anti-terrorism court, raising doubts about the integrity of the process.
