Naqvi stressed that the burden of DISCOs’ inefficiencies must not fall on citizens and demanded sustained, impartial action against officials involved in overbilling.

During a review meeting at the FIA Lahore Zonal Office, Naqvi reiterated the importance of providing relief to electricity consumers and instructed that legal actions continue against government employees engaged in electricity theft.

The meeting, which included briefings by Director FIA Lahore Sarfraz Vark and was attended through a video link by DG FIA Ishaq Jahangir, underscores the government’s resolve to ensure consumer protection and accountability within the electricity sector.
