Saheefa Jabbar highlights the taboo associated with breast cancer. In her recent Instagram story, the actress said that one of her friends and one of her friend’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The actress gave a reminder to all ladies to get themselves checked so they can mitigate the probability of the disease. She further highlighted that breast cancer is not being openly discussed in our society.
she said, “The “Breast” word itself is taboo and in our country people don’t talk about this disease.” She further said, “We can’t talk freely about breast cancer like any other disease. So do not feel ashamed and get yourself tested.”
She also told her mother got tested and she is fine.
