Azaan Sami Khan – son of singer Adnan Sami Khan postponed his album release and the reason behind this is worth lauding. Recently the “Ik Lamha” star took to Instagram and announced that he postponed his album release to November 12th due to the ongoing situation in Gaza.
He wrote, “When I make music, I make it to spread love. This album is the same. If love isn’t celebrated, I don’t feel I’d be doing justice to the music It deeply saddens me to witness what’s going on in the world right now and despite however much I may want the music to come out, it isn’t a time for celebration.
He further elaborated, “The atrocities in Palestine and the attack on the Muslim world is an attack on every one of us. With a heavy heart, I would like to say that I am pushing the album release to the 12th of November. Hoping that global intervention proves successful and that peace prevails.
We laud this great gesture of humanity and kindness by the star. He spoke the heart of every person who believes in humanity. He further stressed, “There are no words or actions that can truly compensate for the incomparable losses families are bearing, however, one can only ask Allah to give Sabr (patience) and strength to those suffering and pray that sanity can emerge.
Showing solidarity with the people of Palestine, he further wrote, “I stand with Palestine, Kashmir, my Muslim community all over the world, and all the innocent lives lost and families shattered everywhere. I, InshAllah, hope we work towards a world where our children don’t repeat the mistakes we have all made or bear the consequences of it. May Allah help us all, Love always.
